Network Facilities Providers (NFP) are the owners/providers of network facilities infrastructure such as cables, towers, satellite earth stations, broadband fibre optic cables, telecommunications lines and exchanges, radio communications transmission equipment, mobile communications base stations and broadcasting transmission towers and equipment.

Diagnosis and treatment services of diseases affecting the patient's teeth or aberrations in the cavity of the mouth, and services aimed at the prevention of development of dental diseases, including dental surgery even when given in hospitals to in-patients. These dental services can be delivered in health clinics, such as those attached to schools, firms, homes for the aged, etc., as well as in own consulting and operating rooms.

It concerns services in the field of general dentistry, such as routine dental examinations, preventive dental care, treatment of caries, etc.; orthodontic services, e.g. treatment of protruding teeth, crossbite, overbite, etc.; services in the field of oral surgery; other specialized dental services, e.g. in the field of periodontics, aedodontics, endodontics and reconstruction.

3 PRIVATE HOSPITALS Kementerian Kesihatan 93111-93119 9311 100% (1ST JANUARY 2012) PRIVATE HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AND SERVICES ACT 1998 (ACT 586) Under Act 586, "private hospital" means any premises, other than a Government hospital or institution, used or intended to be used for the reception, lodging, treatment and care of persons who require medical treatment or suffer from any disease or who require dental treatment that requires hospitalization.

CPC 9311 - This subclass includes:

- surgical services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to inpatients, aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient;

- medical services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to inpatients, aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient;

- gynecological and obstetrical services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to in-patients, aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient;

- rehabilitation services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to inpatients,

aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient;

- psychiatric services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to inpatients,

aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient;

- other hospital services delivered under the direction of medical doctors chiefly to inpatients, aimed at curing, restoring and/or maintaining the health of a patient. These services comprise medical, pharmaceutical and paramedical services, nursing services, laboratory and technical services including radiological and anaesthesiological services, etc.

ACT 555:

“private higher educational institution” means an educational institution, including a University or a University College or a branch campus, approved and registered under this Act, which is not established or maintained by the Government—

(a) providing higher education;

(b) providing distance education; or

(c) providing higher education or distance education in affiliation, association or collaboration with-

(i)   a private higher educational institution approved and registered under this Act;

(ii) other higher educational institutions—

(aa) whether or not established under other

written laws; or

(bb) whether within or outside Malaysia;

(iii) a University or University College established under this Act;

(iv) a University or University College established under the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 [Act 30];

(v) other Universities or University Colleges—

(aa) whether or not established under other

written laws; or

(bb) whether within or outside Malaysia;

(vi) a branch campus; or

(vii) a professional body whether within or outside Malaysia leading to the award of professional membership of such professional body;

 

CPC 92390 Higher Education Services.

Education services leading to a university degree or equivalent. Such education services are provided by universities or specialised professional schools. The programmes not only emphasize theoretical instruction, but also research training aiming to prepare students for participation in original work.

 

Excludes private higher education institutions with Government equity or that receive government assistance.
